AB Jets is growing and seeking experienced First Officers to join our home-based charter operation on the Challenger 3500. Fly industry-leading equipment, with a 16/12 schedule, and top-of-market pay while staying near one of our 30+ approved U.S. domiciles.

As Second-in-Command, you will operate charter missions, perform pre-flight planning, and ensure safe, compliant operations. This role emphasizes client service, safety, and a strong professional standard.

Qualifications

• FAA ATPL and Instrument Rating are required.
• 2,000+ total flight hours with 1,000+ PIC hours.
• Minimum 25 hours multi-engine and 75 hours instrument time.
• Current CL-30 type (or willingness to obtain CL3500 type rating).
• Current FAA First Class Medical and TSA background eligibility.
• Authorized to work in the United States and no recent enforcement actions.
• Able to reside within 1.5 hours of an approved base; home-based position.
• Maximum age 65 for international operations.

What You’ll Do

• Operate the Challenger 3500 on charter missions as Second-in-Command.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, performance planning, and aircraft preparation.
• Execute safe, efficient flight operations in full compliance with FAA and company procedures.
• Deliver a refined, client-focused experience for charter passengers.
• Coordinate seamlessly with Captain, dispatch, and company support teams.
• Uphold AB Jets’ safety culture and professional standards at all times.

What You’ll Bring

• Valid FAA ATPL and Instrument Rating.
• 2,000+ hours total time and 1,000+ hours PIC.
• Minimum 25 hours multi-engine and 75 hours instrument time.
• Current & qualified in CL-30 type (preferred) or willingness to obtain CL3500 type rating.
• Current FAA First Class Medical and FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Valid, unrestricted passport and valid driver's license.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass company and TSA background checks; eligible for CANPASS.
• No accident, incident, or enforcement action in the past 5 years.
• Able to lift at least 75 lbs and work flexible hours as needed.
• Reside within 1.5 hours of an approved base; home-based—no relocation required.
• Note: Maximum age 65 applies for international operations.
