Job summary

Advanced Air, LLC is seeking a Dornier 328 Jet Second in Command based in Hawthorne, CA. You will support on-demand charter operations and scheduled routes to Mammoth and Crescent City, reporting to the Chief Pilot.

The role requires a strong multitasker who can make high-level decisions and maintain safety for passengers, crew and aircraft, including a readiness to commit to a one-year term and reside within two hours of the base.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ATP Multi Required.
• Total Time: 1,500 hours minimum.
• Cross Country Time: 500 hours.
• PIC Time: 250 hours.
• Nighttime: 100 hours.
• Instrument flight time: 75 hours (50 actual).
• Multi-Engine: 50 hours.
• PIC-Turbine: 300 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform a visual Pre and Post Flight (walk-around) inspection prior and after each flight.
• Assist the Pilot-in-Command during all phases of flight.
• Assume primary responsibility for safety of passengers, crew, cargo, and aircraft if PIC is incapacitated.
• Brief PIC on all customer service items including passenger pickup/drop-off, refueling, customs, hangar operations, and catering.
• Maintain primary operational responsibility to complete customer service portions of each leg.
• Comply with FARs, Operations Manual, SOPs, and company policies.
• Update flight and duty records; determine eligibility for next flight; report maintenance discrepancies.
• Participate in safety and quality systems; identify and mitigate hazards.
