Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking a First Line Risk & Control Senior Analyst in CityScape, Phoenix, to support and/or execute risk programs in line with risk appetite and corporate strategy.

You will work with business units to manage risk across all types, monitor policies, and communicate between Risk Management and business units, with a focus on timely risk updates and control assessments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related experience in Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Internal Audit or similar field.
• Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations and regulatory obligations.
• Experience documenting process maps and risk controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in risk and control updates and data collection from defined sources.
• Execute projects with urgency and document process maps and narratives.
• Identify risks and controls in processes and assess control environments.
• Communicate with risk SMEs about risk factors, issues, and regulatory matters.
