Qualifications

• 8+ years of product security, firmware security, or security research with hands-on embedded/firmware work.
• Academic degree in CS, EE, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience defining security policy models (authorization, RBAC) and administration in production.
• Familiarity with applied cryptography, threat modeling, attack vectors, and mitigations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a changing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Involve in security architecture of NVIDIA Networking firmware, including trust boundaries, privilege separation, device identity and key storage, secure boot and chain of trust.
• Perform security threat modeling of firmware and embedded subsystems.
• Analyze firmware and hardware/firmware interactions to identify security weaknesses.
• Define security features across the device lifecycle and guide engineering implementations.
• Translate threat models into actionable requirements and review designs accordingly.
• Partner with hardware/ASIC architects to specify security primitives used across the product line.
• Drive secure development practices for firmware, including memory-safe C, static analysis, and fuzzing.
