Job summary

NVIDIA Networking is seeking a technical security architect with hands-on firmware security experience to improve the security posture of NVIDIA networking products. You will partner with firmware, hardware, and architecture teams to reduce risk, threats, and vulnerabilities while driving new security features for devices worldwide.

Responsibilities include security architecture across firmware, threat modeling, and defining security requirements.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years in product security, firmware security, or security research with hands-on embedded/firmware work.
• Experience defining security policy models including authorization schemes, RBAC, and admin role separation.
• Familiarity with applied cryptography, threat modeling, attack vectors, and mitigations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a changing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Be involved in the security architecture of NVIDIA Networking firmware — trust boundaries, privilege separation between firmware domains, device identity and key storage, secure boot and chain of trust, and secure update and anti-rollback flows.
