Job summary

Astera Labs, based in San Jose, CA, is seeking an experienced firmware engineer to architect and develop firmware subsystems for its SoCs and systems products. Firmware will implement major differentiating features and work closely with customers and hardware teams.

You will design and test on-chip firmware, develop C-based SDKs, and collaborate with logic designers to ensure robust HW-SW interfaces while working with a fast-paced, customer-facing team. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in EE or CS required.
• 5+ years in SoC/silicon firmware for server/storage/networking.
• Experience with on-chip firmware and C SDKs.
• Ability to collaborate with HW/SW teams.
• Immediate availability.
