Solidigm Inc. is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join the Data Center Engineering Team. You will develop firmware for SSD products, using C/C++ in an embedded RTOS environment and collaborating with hardware and ASIC teams to deliver high-performance storage solutions.

The role emphasizes Agile methodologies, cross-functional teamwork, and a strong focus on quality, debugging, and system-level validation across NVMe, PCIe, SATA, and SAS interfaces.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in embedded software/firmware development.
• Experience with C/C++ in embedded RTOS environments and hardware/software interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, document, and maintain product source code in C/C++.
• Analyze and develop firmware per internal/external specs.
• Perform unit and system testing including failure analysis and debugging.
• Develop low-level firmware and architectures in collaboration with hardware/ASIC teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to translate requirements into plans.
• Participate in Agile/Kanban development practices.
