Job summary

Solidigm Inc. is seeking a Firmware Architect to join a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team developing next‑gen SSD firmware. You will lead architecture, drive feature decisions, and translate customer needs into scalable firmware solutions.

You will work closely with ASIC, hardware, and validation teams in a hybrid environment, contributing to a robust AGILE/Kanban process and delivering high‑quality firmware across the SSD platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years in software/firmware for embedded systems, including 8+ years in SSD firmware architecture or NAND flash storage.
• Experience leading firmware architecture across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead firmware architecture and drive design decisions.
• Develop and review C/C++ firmware source code.
• Analyze and implement firmware per specs.
• Perform unit/system testing and debugging.
• Collaborate with ASIC, hardware and validation teams.
• Support Agile/Kanban processes and milestone planning.
