CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Firmware Applications Engineer - SSD to join our product development team. You will integrate, validate, and optimize SSD firmware and host-side applications to deliver high-performance storage products, working with firmware, hardware, QA, and product teams.

The role emphasizes tuning performance (PCIe/NVMe/SATA), debugging, and building automated tests, with opportunities for customer-facing support and occasional on-site visits.

Competenze

• 3+ years hands-on SSD firmware or storage firmware experience.
• Strong PCIe, NVMe, SATA interface knowledge.
• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded/firmware development.
• Familiar with Linux debugging and kernel drivers.

Mansioni

• Develop and integrate host-side firmware applications and drivers for SSDs.
• Tune SSD performance and analyze results to guide changes.
• Debug system issues using analyzers and JTAG.
• Design tests, build automated suites, and validate environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements.
• Implement low-level C/C++ code for controllers.
• Provide customer support and on-site visits when needed.
• Create technical docs, release notes, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve processes.
