Job summary

Solidigm is seeking a Firmware Architect to lead cross-domain system and product level architecture for next-gen SSDs. You will drive requirements for customer features, develop firmware in C/C++, and coordinate with ASIC, hardware, and validation teams to deliver on ambitious milestones.

You will participate in an Agile environment, mentor engineers, and help shape the roadmap for enterprise storage solutions while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years in software or firmware development, with 8+ years in SSD firmware architecture or NAND storage.
• Experience leading firmware architecture across cross-functional teams and with storage interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-domain system and product level architecture and feature assessments.
• Develop and review firmware source code in C/C++ for SSD platforms.
• Coordinate with ASIC, hardware, validation and manufacturing to meet milestones.
• Engage in Agile/Kanban processes and drive high quality release cycles.
