Purpose Brands is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Firmware to join our Edge Engineering team in Woodbury, MN. You will own, design, and maintain our connected fleet of devices including access control systems and studio experiences.

The role emphasizes C/C++ firmware for microcontrollers, multi-threaded software, and automated testing with GTest/GMock, with collaboration across hardware, backend, QA, and supply chain to keep our devices reliable at scale.

Formación

• Proficiency in writing firmware for microcontrollers (C/C++).
• Experience with multithreaded applications (mutexes/threads).
• Experience writing and integrating automated test cases (GTest, GMock).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design, write, and maintain C++ firmware for the Access Control System.
• Manage integration between hardware and backend systems.
• Develop internal tools for fleet management and automation testing.
• Write and maintain automated testing suites and technical docs.
• Collaborate with hardware vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure reliability at scale.
