Job summary

SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ is seeking an experienced firmware engineer to own sensor bring-up and hardware-software collaboration from prototype to production. You will help modernize the firmware tooling and testing stack with work shipping directly to a live device fleet.

The role requires 4+ years in firmware/C/C++ with Python/Node.js tooling, plus experience with UART/I2C/SPI/USB, DMA, and telemetry/OTA updates.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with firmware in C/C++ and Python/Node.js tooling.
• Experience with peripheral drivers and protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, USB); DMA familiarity.
• Experience shipping and maintaining large device fleets, including telemetry monitoring and OTA firmware updates.
• Ability to read datasheets and schematics for hardware bring-up and debugging; comfortable with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Willingness to travel internationally to support overseas manufacturing partners.
