Job summary

Linchpin Solutions is seeking a Senior Firewall/VPN Engineer to provide Tier III network engineering support for enterprise firewall, VPN, DMZ, routing, switching, and network security technologies in a DoD-related environment.

The role requires active DoD Secret Clearance, on-site work in Quantico, VA, and collaboration with multiple teams to design, implement, and optimize security infrastructure while supporting incident and problem management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• ITIL Foundation certification required.
• IAT Level III certification (CCNP Security, CISSP, or CASP+) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and implement enterprise network security appliances, including firewalls, VPNs, and DMZs.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to execute network upgrades and service improvements.
• Support Incident & Problem Management including Tier III escalations and root-cause analysis.
