Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager for Fire Station Projects in the United States. You will lead complex public-sector capital projects from planning to closeout, coordinating government clients, design consultants, and contractors to deliver facilities on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience managing construction projects, including multimillion-dollar capital projects.
• Public-sector project experience with city/county/government facilities, preferably fire stations or public safety facilities.
• Full lifecycle project management across planning, design, construction, and closeout.
• Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, cash flow management, change management, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning through closeout, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
• Oversee project controls: estimates, schedules, budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Manage contracts and documentation: RFIs, change orders, payments, and reporting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and secure approvals and funding as needed.
• Coordinate procurement and consultant selection; evaluate proposals and negotiate fees.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and build strong client relationships with public-sector clients.
• Identify and mitigate risks, evaluate alternatives, and implement proactive solutions.
• Maintain quality and closeout standards, punch lists, warranties, and project records.
