Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an experienced Sr Technician to independently inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems across commercial and residential sites. The role requires strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local codes, with the ability to diagnose deficiencies and guide junior technicians.

Applicants must have 2+ years of sprinkler experience, a valid driver’s license, and NICET II or Kentucky SSR license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience with commercial and residential fire sprinkler systems.
• NICET Level II or Kentucky SSR license required.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, codes, and inspection procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Independently inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Follow NFPA standards and local codes.
• Complete inspection reports accurately and timely.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams.
