Alarm Detection Systems, Inc. is seeking a senior Fire Sprinkler Inspection Technician to inspect, test, and maintain water-based fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA standards and Illinois regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires NICET Level III Certification and Illinois licensure.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler inspection, service, or installation.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 and related codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and riser diagrams; document results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems per NFPA standards.
• Inspect wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems and standpipes.
• Test fire pumps and associated equipment; conduct main drain, trip, and flow tests.
• Document results and generate deficiency reports with corrective recommendations.
• Coordinate with installation and service teams; communicate findings to customers.
