Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to inspect, test, and service fire sprinkler systems, identifying deficiencies and ensuring readiness. You will read blueprints, test for leaks, and coordinate necessary work with the team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED and 2–3 years of inspection experience; NFPA knowledge is required and NICET II/III certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience inspecting various fire sprinkler systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards for inspection, testing, and installation.
• NICET II or III certification preferred.
• Backflow certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, service, install, and perform preventive maintenance on water-based sprinkler systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and NFPA codes.
• Test systems for leaks using air and liquid pressure equipment.
• Identify deficiencies and document service results.
• Coordinate deficiencies with the needed service to correct them.
• Communicate status and requirements with the Service Manager and Inspections Coordinator.
