Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Fire Protection/Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering and 6+ years of work experience.

Must be professionally licensed in the United States and capable of leading design efforts across multiple disciplines. Responsibilities include engineering calculations, design of systems, and mentoring designers, while meeting tight schedules and budgets.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed professional engineer in the United States.
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience in the field.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineering staff and coordinate with project teams.

Mansioni

• Perform engineering calculations and layout/design per codes and standards with minimal supervision.
• Apply practical knowledge to resolve project issues and make independent decisions.
• Supervise subordinate personnel and assist other engineers or designers as needed.
• Meet with Project Engineer/Manager to discuss scope, schedule, and budget.
• Estimate man-hours and develop budgets and schedules for design work.
