Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc. seeks a senior mechanical engineer to lead the complete design of complex mechanical assignments across industrial projects in the United States.

You will apply advanced engineering techniques, perform stress analyses, develop construction specifications, and coordinate with drafting, vendors, and other disciplines to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to client criteria. On-site startup support and cost estimation are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design complex mechanical assignments with emphasis on constructability and client criteria.
• Perform stress analysis, material procurement specs, and piping estimates.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce detailed design calculations and construction drawings for materials of construction.
• Provide field support during startup and coordinate with drafting and vendors.
