Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our North America Fire Protection Engineering Team. You will lead large, complex projects, review codes, prepare technical reports, and guide a team through all project phases.

You will develop standards, participate in BD activities, and mentor staff while ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction. Strong design tool proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

Knowledge of building codes and NFPA standards.
Experience with fire suppression and fire alarm systems.
PE licensure and QFPE on federal projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead large, complex fire protection projects and coordinate teams.
Conduct code reviews, analyses, and prepare technical reports.
Engage in design development with sketches and models.
Lead client meetings and contribute to business development.
Mentor staff and ensure QA/QC on projects.
