Job summary

Garver is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer in Rogers, Arkansas to develop fire protection designs for Buildings Group projects, including protection, suppression and alarm systems. Travel to project sites will be required as needed.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, interfacing with clients, and overseeing design from concept through construction, utilizing BIM tools to generate construction drawings and perform design calculations.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with Fire Protection examination.
• 5–10 years of building design and construction experience.
• Knowledge of fire protection engineering principles for building designs.
• Proven experience overseeing fire protection designs with detailed plans.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Designs fire protection, suppression, and alarm systems for building projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and regional offices.
• Assist project managers in project delivery and scheduling.
• Lead QA/QC as per project plans.
• Produce construction drawings using BIM software.
• Manage multiple assignments and time efficiently.
