Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited university or college
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
• 5–10 years of building design and construction industry experience
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles related to building mechanical designs
• Proven experience overseeing mechanical designs with detailed plans and specifications
• Proficient in building mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with Autodesk Revit
• Proficient with MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection in building projects
• Lead planning, design, and commissioning of building systems
• Coordinate with other disciplines and regional offices
• Assist project managers in project management
• Follow QA/QC plans and travel to project sites as required
