Prince George’s County Government is seeking a Senior Special Projects Inspector (Contract Project Coordinator 3H) to oversee complex fire/EMS construction projects, review plans, and ensure compliance. The role combines office and field engineering with strong coordination across departments and external partners.

The incumbent will monitor development projects, evaluate construction issues, and facilitate timely completion under Fire/EMS Department policies, reporting to the Assistant Fire

Qualifications

• Degree in structural or civil engineering, or architecture.
• Three years of inspection/construction experience.
• Valid Class C driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Perform on-site field visits to monitor progress and compliance.
• Conduct field progress meetings and review change orders.
• Interface with project team, architects, engineers, and contractors on projects.
• Review project plans, specifications and cost estimates for contractual compliance.
• Act as liaison with County and State agencies involved in construction.
