Job summary

Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department is seeking a Community Developer I to design and implement fire safety and injury prevention initiatives for diverse communities. The position requires evening and weekend commitments and a Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus relevant coordination experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field as listed.
• Experience coordinating group activities, including work with disadvantaged individuals.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fire safety and injury prevention programs for diverse audiences.
• Serve as a community liaison, advocate for program needs, and provide social services referrals.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize data related to program administration and outcomes.
• Attend events and coordinate outreach activities, including evenings and weekends as required.
