Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Designer in Pleasanton, CA to design, engineer and document medium to large scale solutions with increasing complexity. You will guide drafters, align with project scope, and support pre-sales activities while upholding Convergint’s values and culture.

The role requires 5–7 years AutoCAD experience and NICET II/III certification; Revit/EST are preferred. On-site position with strong customer focus and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; NICET II/III certification preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of AutoCAD experience.
• NICET II/III certification required.
• Preferred: Revit or EST certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales activities to identify, scope, and estimate cost-effective solutions.
• Work with Project Management to ensure engineering deliverables reflect project scope; mentor drafters.
• Monitor resource efforts to stay within project budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to manage scope changes and budgets.
