Job summary

All Allied Universal is currently looking to hire a Fire Life Safety Director for a Corporate Building in Midtown, Manhattan. The position is part time with overnight, morning and afternoon shifts and a pay rate of $32.05 per hour.

The role involves protecting life and property by executing the building's fire safety plan, managing the Fire Command Station and supervising the fire brigade, wardens, and evacuation teams, and acting as a liaison to the NYC Fire Department during emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the public and staff.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and logs; computer skills helpful.
• Read, understand, and follow operating procedures and instructions.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test required.

Responsibilities

• Protect life and property by implementing the building's fire safety plan and supervising the Fire Command Station.
• Coordinate with the NYC Fire Department during emergencies.
• Supervise Fire Wardens, Deputy Wardens, and Building Evacuation Team members.
• Conduct fire alarm drills and maintain logs for critique and improvement.
• Provide clear directions and assistance to visitors, vendors, and employees during emergencies.
• Inspect visitor and access badges to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Maintain surveillance and report suspicious activity.
• Perform CPR/AED and basic first aid when required.
