Allied Universal is hiring a Fire Life Safety Director to oversee the life safety program at an upscale hotel in New York. The role focuses on protecting lives and property through fire safety planning and coordination of the fire command station and wardens.

The position is full-time with afternoon and overnight shifts, Monday through Sunday, paying $24.00 per hour. The candidate will liaison with the NYC Fire Department during emergencies and lead staff training and drills.

Qualifications

• Must hold F85 or F89 Certificate of Fitness (NY Only).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare reports and logs; computer skills may be required.
• Must read and understand operating procedures.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Maintain active licenses while on duty.
• Outstanding customer service and professional appearance.
• Adapt to changing environments and emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Fire Life Safety program for an upscale hotel.
• Manage Fire Command Station and supervision of fire teams.
