Job summary

EFI Global is seeking experienced Fire Investigators to support complex origin and cause investigations in a full-time, remote role across the region. The position emphasizes technical rigor, clear communication, and teamwork while delivering unbiased, defensible findings.

IAAI‑CFI certification is strongly preferred, with NAFI‑CFEI required at minimum, reflecting our commitment to industry standards, safety, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree or higher and at least 5 years of fire investigation experience.
• IAAI-CFI or CFEI certification strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Investigates assigned claims suspected of insurance fraud, large loss, or multiple claims.
• Conducts site investigations and presents findings clearly in depositions and trials.
• Maintains confidential case files and documents findings in claims systems.
• Provides guidance to leadership and associates on claims resolution.
• Develops relationships with government agencies and public records sources.
