Job summary

EFI Global is seeking an experienced Fire Investigator in the greater Dallas area for a full-time, remote role. You will independently conduct complex origin-and-cause investigations of fires in commercial and residential settings, delivering unbiased, defensible findings.

The ideal candidate holds an IAAI-CFI (preferred) and CFEI certification, with at least five years of investigation experience, strong communication, and analytical skills. Local travel within the Dallas region may be required.

Qualifications

• Five years of fire investigation experience or equivalent.
• IAAI-CFI preferred and CFEI minimum requirement.
• Strong investigative and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive origin and cause investigations for fires and explosions.
• Prepare detailed reports and provide expert testimony when needed.
• Maintain confidential case files and coordinate with authorities.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards.
