Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing or maintaining commercial fire alarm systems.
• Able to differentiate wire types/colors, use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone and tablet, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 3 within 12 months.
• Able to read and understand design and construction documents.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license and eligible for Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements.
• Create detailed test and inspection reports per code and customer needs.
• Respond to troubleshoot and perform repairs to maintain system functionality.
• Identify code/non-conformance issues and ensure adherence to standards.
• Quote small repair jobs and provide parts/labor details to estimators and sales.
• Plan work with Lead Technicians and Supervisors to strategize tasks.
