Siemens is seeking a Senior Fire Alarm Systems Service Technician for our Sandy, UT location to service and maintain commercial fire alarm systems. You will perform testing, inspections, and documentation under maintenance agreements, while mentoring less experienced technicians.

The role emphasizes on-site execution, adherence to codes, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in fire alarm systems, relevant certifications, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience with commercial fire alarm systems.
• Utah Master Fire Alarm Technician or NICET III Fire Alarm Certification.
• Able to differentiate wire types/colors; lift up to 75 pounds unassisted.
• Must be able to read/understand design and construction documents.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements.
• Create detailed test and inspection reports per code requirements and customer needs.
• Respond to troubleshooting and repairs to maintain system functionality.
• Identify code and non-conformance issues and ensure standards are met.
• Quote small repair jobs and provide parts/labor details to estimators.
