Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Harleysville, PA, is seeking a Senior/Mid Level Fire Alarm Systems Service Technician to lead service and maintenance for commercial fire alarm systems. You will inspect, test, and maintain systems per customer requirements while mentoring junior technicians and promoting knowledge sharing.

The role requires 3+ years in the field (or 1+ year at mid level), NICET II certification within 12 months, and the ability to read design docs.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in installation/maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems
Must obtain NICET II Fire Alarm Certification within 12 months
Must be able to read/understand design and construction documents
Demonstrated ability to use a digital multimeter for basic electrical measurements
Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license and able to participate in Siemens fleet vehicle program
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements
Create detailed test and inspection reports based on code requirements and customer needs
Swiftly respond to, troubleshoot, and complete necessary repairs to maintain system functionality
Identify code and non-conformance issues, ensuring adherence to required standards
Quote small repair jobs and provide detailed parts and labor requirements to estimators and sales
Plan work with Lead Technicians and Supervisors to strategize tasks effectively
