Qualifications

3+ years of experience in installation/maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
Able to differentiate types/colors of wire, use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet, and lift up to 75 pounds.
Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 3 within 12 months.
Must be able to read/understand design and construction documents.
Must be 18+ with valid driver's license; eligible for Siemens fleet vehicle program.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements.
Create detailed test and inspection reports based on code requirements and customer needs.
Troubleshoot and complete necessary repairs; report activities and next steps.
Identify code and non-conformance issues and ensure standards compliance.
Quote small repairs and provide parts/labor details for larger projects.
Plan work with Lead Technicians and Supervisors to strategize tasks.
