Job summary

Everon is seeking an experienced technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage panels, wiring and devices. The role involves handling more complex issues and may include some programming.

You will maintain truck stock, document work performed, and ensure safety and compliance with local and national codes. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or Vocational Training.
  • Three or more years of experience in related field.
  • Mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, and intercom access control systems.
  • Working knowledge of local and national codes.
  • Ability to read plans and use tools to install panels, boxes and wiring.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and HAZCOM regulations and electrical codes.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and diagrams in English.

Responsibilities

  • Service, troubleshot and repair low voltage panels, wiring and devices.
  • Provide reliable, high quality customer support.
  • Instruct customers on system operation and functionality.
  • Perform system testing and signal verification.
  • Maintain truck stock/inventory of equipment and tools.
  • Organize resources to ensure efficient task execution.
  • Ensure progress and completion of tasks.
  • Provide documentation of service hours and activities.
  • Complete required task-related activities and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic and attention to detail.
