Job summary

Vallen seeks a Service Technician III to support Life Safety Services in the Fire Alarm Projects Group. You will install, inspect, test and maintain life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

You will coordinate with customers and teammates, provide training where needed, and ensure accurate documentation for invoicing while following safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 3 fire protection-related certifications.
• Fire Alarm 2–4 years’ experience or Notifier programming experience.
• Suppression license preferred.
• WBS Construction experience (2–4 years).
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
• Advanced communication and initiative; able to train others.
• Experience installing/maintaining Life Safety Systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service and assist HTS technicians with training.
• Install and/or ITM Life Safety Systems including Fire Alarm, extinguishers, gas/detection systems.
• Coordinate jobs with customers; may lead technicians in area of expertise.
• Maintain accurate job documentation for invoicing.
• Keep inventory for jobs and use company assets as required.
• Uphold safety practices and comply with OSHA/NFPA standards.
• Assist shipping/receiving and support warehouse as needed.
