Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
• NICET IV required; OSHA-30, F-Card, CPR and related certifications are valued.
• 5+ years of fire alarm engineering experience on complex projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer fire alarm systems compliant with NFPA and local codes.
• Lead projects from inception to completion including planning and budgeting.
• Coordinate with engineering, contractors, and stakeholders for seamless execution.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Stay current with fire alarm tech and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance documentation and test reports are prepared.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
