Job summary
Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Columbus, OH to join Digital Disbursements’ engineering team. You’ll develop a high-availability, multi-tier Payments-as-a-Service platform and work with internal and external clients.
You’ll contribute to the full SDLC, perform production support, and help drive scalability, security, and performance improvements across services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7+ years of object-oriented development experience.
- 3+ years of MySQL experience.
- 4+ years of NodeJS experience.
- 4+ years of ReactJS experience.
- 4+ years of TypeScript experience.
- Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience.
- Experience with API-Gateway & Lambda.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain scalable software with a focus on payments platforms.
- Collaborate with peers, QA, and business partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle for a multi-tier platform.
- Provide production support and respond to urgent bugs.
- Contribute to peer code reviews and engineering best practices.
- Enhance scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance of systems.
