Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Principal Engineer II - Delivery Lead in Columbus, OH. You will provide expert technical authority across BES domains, owning end-to-end solution design and driving complex architectural initiatives that support secure, compliant, and scalable platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of technical delivery leadership experience.
Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture and DevOps practices.
Expertise with C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server and API design.
Experience with front-end tech: Angular/React/Typescript/HTML/CSS/JS.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Strong communication and incident leadership under pressure.

Responsibilities

Provide technical authority across BES domains and drive complex design and delivery.
Own end-to-end architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and governance.
Lead high-impact incidents, guide decision-making, and ensure operational stability.
Review designs from juniors to ensure scalable and reusable solutions.
Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor performance and drive improvements.
Coach engineers and present clear narratives to business and IT stakeholders.
