Job summary

DualEntry is hiring a senior backend engineer to own end-to-end backend systems and integrations with banks, partners, and enterprise platforms. You'll design scalable data pipelines, implement secure connectivity (SFTP, ISO 20022), and lead cross-team efforts across payments fintech domains.

We value 8+ years of backend experience, deep Python expertise, and real-world API production. Remote work with US ET overlap is supported; equity and rapid growth opportunities are offered to the right

Qualifications

• 8+ years building backend systems in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in Python and modern frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django).
• Experience with production-grade APIs and cloud infrastructure (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution for backend systems and infrastructure.
• Integrate with banks and partners via host-to-host connections and ISO 20022 formats.
• Build and maintain customer-facing integrations with AP/AR tools, CRM, payroll, and data warehouses.
• Automate onboarding and integration playbooks; improve test frameworks.
• Drive product velocity and system reliability across pipelines.
