Job summary

Flex is a growth-stage FinTech company headquartered in NYC, with hybrid roles including San Francisco. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, build, and scale services for Payment, Billing, Identity, and partner integrations, owning APIs end-to-end and delivering production rollouts with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years experience in software engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years experience with Java.
• Ability to work on a globally-distributed team with a high degree of ownership.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOA, and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale the services and integrations behind Payment, Billing, Identity, and partner integrations.
• Own APIs from scoping and design through production rollout with minimal oversight.
