Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a hands-on FinOps Leadership professional to manage enterprise cloud cost governance and cost optimization initiatives. The role focuses on building and maturing FinOps practices, partnering with Finance on budgeting and P&L alignment, and driving accountability across engineering and product teams.

You will own the FinOps tooling stack, report on cloud spend, and guide architecture and product investment decisions with a financial governance lens.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud financial management, technology finance, or related fields.
• At least 5 years in a FinOps role.
• Experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong command of FinOps disciplines: cost allocation, chargeback/showback, and savings planning.

Responsibilities

• Drive FinOps program adoption, governance, and measurable cost outcomes across business units.
• Oversee cloud cost allocation frameworks and showback/chargeback models.
• Lead FinOps analysis functions including variance analysis, trend reporting, and savings opportunities.
