Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Cloud FinOps Specialist to manage cloud program operations, governance, cost optimization, and financial reporting across major platforms. You will collaborate with Technology, Data, Product and Finance teams and with vendors to drive cloud efficiency and provide leadership with regular updates.

The role emphasizes building a holistic view of the cloud roadmap, operational health, and usage data while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Eight years of direct IT finance and cloud experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on cloud finances to monitor operations and cloud spend.
• Lead cost optimization initiatives across AWS, Azure, and other platforms.
• Identify opportunities for savings and measure outcomes with data and dashboards.
• Partner with Finance and IT to develop budgets, forecasts, and cost allocation.
• Design and maintain cloud cost dashboards for stakeholders.
