This role focuses on driving cost transparency, optimization, and financial discipline across various technology areas. The ideal candidate should possess 5-10+ years of experience in IT financial management or cloud cost optimization, along with strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP pricing models. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support architecture and investment decisions while promoting cost efficiency within the organization.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years experience in IT financial management, FinOps, or cloud cost optimization.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating architectural design decisions with cost and licensing impact.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams to assess cost implications of architectural designs.
• Evaluate future-state architectures for cost drivers, scalability tradeoffs, and licensing impact.
• Build financial models to support architecture and modernization decisions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through rightsizing, Reserved Instances/Savings Plans, workload modernization, and automation.
• Monitor cloud spend to identify anomalies, variances, and trends.
