Job summary

This role focuses on cloud financial operations, AI/ML cost management, and cost visibility to optimize investments across cloud and SaaS workloads.

You will collaborate with engineering, finance, and procurement to align cost strategies with business goals and deliver measurable impact for a global multi‑billion-dollar business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in financial management, cloud operations, or technology cost management, including 3+ years in FinOps
• Bachelor's degree in finance, CS, IT, or related field
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their cost structures
• Familiarity with AI/ML cost structures, including GPU instances and managed AI platforms
• Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling for forecasting, budgeting, and vendor negotiations
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to visualize insights for decision-making
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Optimize cloud financial operations to maximize value from cloud investments, including AI/ML workloads
• Provide actionable insights on cloud spend, SaaS license optimization, and cost drivers
• Implement tooling and tagging standards to improve cost visibility across cloud, SaaS, and AI workloads
• Monitor LLM API consumption and GPU infrastructure to identify cost trends and opportunities
• Build financial models to forecast cloud, SaaS, and AI expenditures for budgeting and vendor negotiations
• Design cost allocation, tagging, showback, and chargeback models to attribute spend to teams and apps
• Educate engineering and business owners on cloud financial management practices
• Partner with tech, finance, and procurement to align cost strategies with business objectives
