Job summary

Point72 is seeking a Senior Network Engineering Leader to guide a team that designs, builds, and operates resilient infrastructure supporting critical investment and business applications. You will shape roadmaps, drive secure, high-performance networks across office, data center, and cloud environments, and lead automation efforts to reduce risk.

You will collaborate with Technology, Security, and business teams to enable new applications and locations, while mentoring engineers and guiding

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in network engineering, including leadership of engineers in a complex tech environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, wireless, firewall, remote access, and data center networking concepts.
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale, secure, high-availability networks across office, data center, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience with network automation, observability, infrastructure as code, incident response, and process improvement.
• Ability to lead technical decision-making, prioritize initiatives, and maintain service quality in a fast-paced environment.

• Shape the network engineering roadmap by translating business priorities into scalable architecture.
• Design secure, high-performance network solutions across office, data center, and cloud environments.
• Drive automation and observability to improve reliability and delivery.
• Partner with Technology, Security, and business teams to deliver networking capabilities.
• Oversee incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management.
• Guide change management for upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure performance, resilience, and security.
• Coach engineers through mentorship, prioritization, and career development.
