Job summary

Nationwide Fixture Installations in Dallas area is seeking an experienced carpenter supervisor for commercial and retail projects. You will lead crews of 3–8, read architectural drawings, and coordinate with clients, general contractors and sub-contractors to deliver fixtures and millwork on schedule.

Requirements include five years of installation experience, at least one year of supervisory work, High School or trade school, and willingness to travel 2–8 weeks.

Qualifications

• Five years installation experience in commercial/retail finish carpentry.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
• Education: High School or Trade School or Equivalent.
• Willingness to travel 2–8 weeks and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate crews of 3–8 people.
• Interact professionally with clients, general contractors and sub-contractors.
• Communicate clearly with Project Management Team.
• Interpret layouts for millwork, fixtures and other elements.
• Evaluate site conditions, schedules and deliveries.
• Submit time sheets, expenses and daily reports electronically.
• Maintain safety and manage inventory of millwork.
