Job summary

Nationwide Fixture Installations in Houston seeks an experienced carpentry supervisor to lead installation crews on millwork, fixtures and cabinetry projects. You will interpret plans, manage 3–8 person crews, and coordinate with project management and clients.

The role requires strong communication, safety focus, and travel readiness for extended site assignments. Expect 40–60 hour weeks with potential overnight projects.

Qualifications

• High School/Trade School or Equivalent required.
• Five years installation and Commercial or Retail finish carpentry experience.
• One year minimum supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Capable of managing and motivating others.
• Interact professionally with clients, general contractors and sub-contractors.
• Communicate clearly with the Project Management Team.
• Oversee personnel management of crews ranging from 3 to 8 people.
• Interpret layouts for millwork, fixtures and other elements.
• Evaluate site conditions, construction and delivery schedules.
• Identify non-contract scope and generate added work changes if necessary.
• Work knowledge of architectural drawings, shop drawings and floorplans, woodworking tools.
• Receive, stage and manage inventory of millwork and fixture parts.
• Perform carpentry tasks including installation of cabinets, countertops, trim, scribing and panel systems.
• Submit time sheets, expense reports, and progress photos electronically.
• Support site safety and project site protocols.
