Job summary

GFIT is seeking an Analyst, Financial Systems Security, in the United States. The Senior Analyst role focuses on protecting financial systems and data across a complex tech environment, including ITGC and SOX compliance, audits, and secure design reviews.

The position offers remote, full-time work with occasional in-person collaboration travel to headquarters in Miami, FL, and primary hiring hubs in several U.S. cities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Management, or a related field.
• At least seven years of experience in IT security, security operations, IT audit, and/or financial systems compliance.
• Professional certification in security, compliance, or financial systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced monitoring and analysis of security alerts and logs to identify suspicious activity, anomalies, and trends affecting financial systems.
• Investigate complex security events, conduct root-cause and impact analyses, and coordinate remediation with technical teams.
• Act as escalation point for high-risk security issues requiring cross-functional coordination.
• Support IT General Controls (ITGC) and SOX control activities related to security monitoring, access management, and incident response.
• Review security designs, requirements, and change requests to ensure alignment with security standards.
• Collaborate with teams to incorporate security considerations into implementation plans.
