Job summary

MBC is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to provide business and financial management support to the U.S. Navy program offices, based in the Washington, D.C. area.

The role requires extensive Navy-budgeting expertise, EVM certification, and a DOE-like level of attention to detail. Travel domestically and internationally to support client engagements is expected. The position demands a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting, proficiency with Microsoft Office and

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience providing business and financial management support to U.S. Navy program offices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field from a US-accredited institution.
• EVM Certificate or equivalent.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and budgeting support to Navy program offices.
• Review budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and objectives.
• Develop guidelines governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
• Plan internal and external engagements and events.
• Prepare briefing materials in accordance with Navy guidelines.
• Coordinate data calls and report to government leadership for action.
• Attend meetings and assist with presentations and materials.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support MBC and clients.
