Job summary

Q.E.D. Systems is seeking a Finance Manager in Virginia Beach to support U.S. Navy planning yard requirements. You will manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Ship Change Documents, design checks, and configuration management.

You will report to the Program Manager and handle project costs, including material, travel, ODC, and subcontractor costs. A minimum of 10 years in naval financial roles is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of financial experience related to ship design, construction, modernization, maintenance and engineering for U.S. Navy ships.
• Experience in budgeting, funding, EVM, Obligation Planning and Phased LOE planning and appropriations.
• Familiarity with Navy planning processes and government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Budget, forecast, record, track and report all project costs including material, travel, ODC, and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare financial projections and reports and review/approve cost estimates.
